RoboBraille broadcasting

The cooperation agreement with the Polish Deaf Blind Association are beginning to attract media attention. On March 16th, the project team participated on “Radio Warszawa”, in the broadcast program, called "Integrator", with President Grzegorz Kozlowski and, as translator, Wojciech Maj from MEDISON. The broadcast is a weekly feature on Radio Warszawa, broadcast every Wednesday at 8:10 pm, and lasts 50 minutes. Robert Więckowski, who hosted the broadcast, works on a daily basis as responsible editor of "The Torch", the monthly magazine of the Polish Blind Association. Radio Warszawa addresses the population of elderly persons and persons with disabilities. The radio station have several listeners not only in Poland, but also throughout the world.

The broadcast mark the cooperation between the RoboBraille project team and Polish Deaf Blind Association. Early this year, agreement between the parties were signed in order to sustain RoboBraille in Poland. With the agreement to host the free email service, the full range of RoboBraille functions will be available for the benefit of the target group and propagated across the country. The Polish Deaf Blind Association is an organization with the purpose to help the population of people with hearing and visual impairment. The organization has more than 100 employees and a substantial number of volunteers who work in their 13 divisions located across Poland.
