RoboBraille at First European Congress on Visual Impairment
The 22nd-24th of October the RoboBraille team attended ”First European Congress on Visual Impairment” in Valladolid, Spain. The goal of the congress was to exchange knowledge and experiences among the professional participants from all over Europe. Among the speakers was several professors, whose presentations was about “Peripheral Prisms” and “Clinical Tests of Vision for Severe Visual Impairment” among other related topics.
The RoboBraille team presented RoboBraille and AutoBraille at the congress, and the presentations aroused apparent interest among the listeners.
The congress was arranged by the University Institute of Aplicated Oftalmobiology and ASPREH, The Spanish Association of Professionals of People with Visual Impairment.
ASPREH was founded in 2007 with the purpose of diffusing of the reality of visual impairment, the importance of its prevention and the possibilities of rehabilitation of visually impaired people, as well as the participation and contribution to research projects, programs and activities in the matter of rehabilitation and collaborations with other organizations.
